i used to have a candle that smelled like a real pine tree and it was SUCH a good smell.

I'd actually love to be Billie Piper's sister. She seems like she would have lots of good advice for me and I would love to share her wardrobe.

3. What male celebrity do you wish was your brother?

Hm. I think I'd like to be Timothee Chalamet's sister. We could speak French to each other and hang out and watch movies.

not sure what the exact word is, but whatever specifically bruce springsteen and the killers have going on. american gothic but rock? songs that feel like road trips? "artists that nonnie and i lose our minds about on the regular?" you decide!

5. What’s your hogwarts house?

according to the canon system, i'm a ravenclaw! in the sortinghatchats system, i'm a burned gryffindor primary, hufflepuff secondary, with a ravenclaw primary model. which sounds like a mouthful but it's a really cool system!

9. What’s your favorite aesthetic?

I saved batch number two for Christmas, I actually saved these to open on Christmas Day so the day wasn’t so.. you know, 2020?

Thank you for the tea, stickers (that Xmas unicorn made my eyes well up, I love it!), the post card of Glasgow and all the warm wishes.

In 2020, I was planing to finally go to Scotland after years of failed attempts, so your post card gave me a sign that all is not lost there.

I think the best comment or comments because this has been said to me more than once,(it makes me tear up a little and also be quite happy at the same time) is that my writing helped someone come down off an anxiety attack; and that it’s helped another couple of people during Covid isolation.

To me, it’s not about pretty words, prose or all those things I read authors cooing about.  It’s about readers and giving someone a smile.  Nothing else matters other than giving someone a chance to escape whatever real life stuff is getting them down or causing them to suffer.  So hearing that makes any writing struggle worth it.

Not that I don’t appreciate someone telling me a particular metaphor tickles them or that they love pretty words I accidentally write.  I love those comments but I always take it in more as a yes, I gave someone a smile today.  Because that’s what I like in fic.  Make me smile.  Help me down off the anxiety attack (2am AO3 therapy!)  I appreciate everyone who gives my writing a shot and it pleases me immensely to be able to entertain and make someone’s life a little lighter for a little while.

As to drawings...hmmm that’s a toughie.  Very rarely am I inspired by art which must sound weird since so many people on tumbllr have play lists,and  get into analyzing songs or other visual media.  Most of my ideas don’t come from that.   Inspiration for me comes from chatting and people talking about head cannons or what they love or hobbies or tropes. 

For example, Unexpected Unicorns was based off an AO3 message and a couple of lovely people chatting about it which then triggered a discussion about a song from my childhood and boom, a fic was born.

I wish I was so inspired or turned on by art as other people but that’s probably only about 10-20% of my prompts.  I love fic art and I have a very bouncy and honored-I can’t believe it reaction when people do art for something I’ve written.  It’s a very I can’t believe someone with talent liked my stuff enough to do that moment.
