The executive director of the Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (Nipam), Maria Nangolo, has been suspended from her position.
The executive director of the Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (Nipam), Maria Nangolo, has been suspended from her position.
This was announced by the institution's governing council chairperson, George Simataa, on Friday. In a notice to Nipam staff, Simataa announced the appointment of Sankwasa Mubita as the acting executive director of the institute. Mubita's appointment as acting executive director is with effect from Friday (17 March) "until the substantive executive director returns to office, or as directed otherwise by Nipam's governing council", Simataa stated. He did not explain the reasons for Nangolo's suspension.
