she always liked the golden globes. it'd be a more subdued affair with not enough to eat and people sneaking in and out, but like, it felt like less pressure than the other shows. or maybe she's just making that shit up. it's always nerve wracking, but frankly, knowing she had ling there kind of made it easier. the both of them likely would have never met had they held OTHER jobs. it's its own version of the stars aligning, even if the disaster of a movie that they'd finally gotten together at was destined to never see the light of day.
but who's to say it didn't make for like, a great story? they'd already been halfway famous for being paired together on tiktok before the movie, then they'd gotten together, filmed another... and hey. maybe this was that whole meant to be ending that everyone hoped for, how, after 3 years now, the both of them seemed UNSHAKEABLE, even to those who stood outside of the pair of them. her mom loved him. his dad stopped commenting. who knew? maybe, maybe, they'd be one of the few that really made it.
