Pā²VEMENT JELLY
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Okay. He couldn't remember what he was supposed to be doing that morning, which was embarrassing considering his mantra was about other people memorizing the 'when, what, where, when and especially him.' Lea blankly stared ahead, seated on his skateboard and absentmindedly rolling himself back and forth with such potent vacantness any onlooker might've thought he wasĀ touched by the Lord and Savior himself. He was infuriated, exhausted and seriously beginning to rethink the amount of kush he sucked down into his lungs on a weekly basis because this was becoming ridiculous. He'd had a date? Maybe, but -- if he was late for that, then he'd have received a passive aggressive text by then, and it wasn't like he had a boyfriend yet.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā He needed to move. Get his blood going. Do something to stir his memory. Lea stood up and snatched his board from the sidewalk before clawing a set of fingers through his dyed and fried red locks. His feet dragged along the lengths of concrete, acquiring more scuffs and scratches he'd spend the night rubbing out before getting bored and leaving them only half-cleaned. There was no point in looking nice, anyway. He knew what he was about, and clean lines and fashionable endeavors had nothing to do with him. Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Whoa there..." In a daze, Lea anticlimactically reached outward with a snap. He'd hardly registered what was happening before him, but it looked to be someone about to walk out into traffic. A blond someone at that who was yet to turn his face toward him. Lea furrowed his brow and slowly the color came into color and focus, and he inhaled as the sound of truck whooshing by at illegal speed jarred him away. There was a warm body beneath his fingers, he'd just saved someone from being turned to pavement jelly, and he was all at once parting his lips in surprise. "Watch yourself, kiddo. That truck almost ate you for fucking dinner." Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "But what an asshole," he muttered that under his breath before turning to watch the truck turn a corner, not having slowed down even for a second. "You cool?"
