{Rippling Watercolors}

I drew this up while listening to- you guessed it- rippling watercolors by Brian Balmages. (It’s amazing, listen to it here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xw99vT49VDE)

We played this song in our concert band, and I got to play the chimes. I feel in love with the song, and it even inspired a certain scene in my book– which is depicted in this art. (Read it here! https://docs.google.com/document/d/13LpKX76jZ-dEAr1TXk3Cw6GoRSp_uIUgssplL9DC2kw)

Don’t be confused, the glowing blue stuff isn’t really anything. It just symbolizes regret, stress, etc. He’s letting the water “carry it away.” And the single star? Don’t worry, that’s just Venus. A small detail, but I bet some of you assumed what it was, haha!

I’m working on a new one based off of another couple of songs. It’s not going to be as detailed, but I hope it will satisfy.
