hey can you rate percyjacksdone my sideblog? I 2015 has been okay because I feel like I got a lot done. I've gotten good grades so far and I plan to keep them up for 2016! I also hope to get better at playing violin and want to get a good seat in orchestra. And for the godly guessing I'm a kind of awkward introvert that likes to read a lot. I sometimes draw and I play the violin a lot. I also like to volunteer sometimes on the weekends.

The sun was just beginning to set, throwing pink and orangehues across the green fields of Camp Half-Blood. Camp always had the most amazingsunsets Will had ever seen. He suspected it had to do with the magical barrierthat kept weather in check, but deep down part of him wanted to believe thatthe gods were somehow trying to show affection for their kids by at leastgiving them a beautiful end to their day. Knowing that his father and aunt hadthe biggest part in the display left him feeling warm inside.
This evening, however, Will’s eyes weren’t on the sunset.
He and Nico di Angelo had been seeing a lot of each otherlately, and Will couldn’t be more thrilled. Once you got past the roughexterior, Nico was one of the kindest, most caring people he knew. Aftereverything he’d been through, Will knew that Nico was weary about letting newpeople into his life, so to be able to get so close to him was something he wasimmensely grateful for.
He knew that Nico considered them friends – close friends atthat. But sometimes Will felt that maybe it could be something a bit…different? He thought he could feel something there, some sort of tensionbetween them that wasn’t entirely platonic. He never had any idea if Nico feltthe same, though. As open as Nico had become around him, trying to gauge hisfeelings was still nearly impossible for Will. He’d studied his body language,watched for wandering glances, waited for a slip of the tongue, anything to tryto figure out if this thing he was feeling was unrequited or not. In allhonesty, it was starting to become a real problem. Will couldn’t take his mindoff of –
“Will? Will what are you staring at?” Will was pulled out ofthe stupor he didn’t know he was in. Had he really been staring? For how long?
He could feel a blush starting to rise in his cheeks. “I, uh…”
“Is there something on my face?” Nico asked, reaching a handup to his cheek. “Oh my gods, have you been letting me walk around with food onmy face since dinner?”
“No! No, there’s nothing on your face!” Will rushed tocorrect him. Oh, he was definitely blushing now. “I just, uh, you… you lookreally nice, is all.”
Nico looked like a deer caught in the headlights.
“Sorry! I didn’t mean – no, I meant like, you’re uh,” Willspluttered. There, he’d gone and ruined everything! Great! Now Nico will never-
“Um, you too.”
Wait, what? Did Nico just… “Huh?”
Nico’s face went bright pink, all the way up to the tips ofhis ears. “I just said that you um, you look really nice too, is all. And,thanks.” He wasn’t facing Will anymore, but he kept glancing back at him fromthe corner of his eye.
Will smiled at that and hesitantly scooted a bit closer toNico. Neither of them really knew what this meant, or where it was headed, butat least the warm pink glow from the sunset matched the ones on their cheeks.
