Playing around with sun ideas and this little guy popped out. I'm saving it for the future.
Concept Art - Sun “T” pose
To prepare the character to be modelled in 3D I created “T” poses which showcase how the character would look like from different views.
The final model may defer slightly as some aspects may change when it is applied into a 3D program but this is the final look I hope to achieve for this character.

Concept Art - Sun Expressions and Poses
To help portray the Sun characters better I created a few expression and poses which could help to later understand his features and movement.
As these characters only have eyes fro facial features those will be the areas in which to focus their facial expressions. To help to understand an expression better I also though that it would be interesting to move his head piece in relation to the expression he would portray.
The expressions created above tend to be more extreme than they could end up being but it was interesting to play with this character who has a reduced amount of facial features.
The poses the Sun will showcase in the final animation will not be very extreme but it will be important to think about the deformation in the cloth covering his lower body.
Sun, Moon and Water Final Designs
After producing the colour tests and ask people for opinion regarding colours choices which best fit the characters I moved on to produce the final colour combinations for each individual character.
Above you can see the final design. I am quite pleased with them and I think that each of them embody the elements which they are meant to portray.
