Nothing worth doing in life comes easy. You have to work hard, maybe sweat a little, make sacrifices, and ultimately make that commitment to yourself to just do it. I'll always remember the summer I quit my job, got rid of my phone, packed all my belongings in a car, and had a wild road trip across this beautiful country, climbing every mountain I could along way. What started as fear and uncertainty quickly became freedom and confidence. Getting out of my comfort zone was tough for me, and I've still got some work to do, but the best experiences really do happen when you take a few risks and try something new. (at Upper Joffre Lake)

Amazing sunrise summit hike up Mt. Batur Volcano this morning. One of the coolest hikes I've ever done. Left the house at 2:15, on the trail at 4, at the summit by 6:30 for the sunrise.
