This is something that I've never done in my life..
When I was fifteen, I always wanted to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. My grandmother (my best-friend and second mother) was really the only one that knew about it at the time, and she was so supportive and told me to chase my dreams, and don't let anyone get in the way of that.
She told me, "If you don't do it for yourself, do it for me." That line has ALWAYS stayed with me.
May 5th, 2016.. I lost my grandmother to cancer, and she was the light to my world, and was always there when I needed her.. as many years went on I've been pushing this dream to the very bottom and tried ignoring it, but now, I'm doing everything I can to do it.
I want my daughter to know she can do anything she puts her mind and energy too, I want my grandmother to know that I did it for her. I'm doing this for me, because I want to find the better person inside me that my husband and daughter deserves. ❤️
