Hey this is in reply to going overseas and getting a letter. I'm not worried about not having the diploma, so much as not being able to produce proof of graduation letter. The letter is contingent on the grades release from my S1 courses
If you just have to wait on S1 grades then that shouldn’t take that long, S1 ends before S2 and SU, so you’re not waiting untill August to get grades. If you’re concerned about getting the grades on time then maybe you should speak to your professors or the course department.

hey I was wondering how the grades release for the summer term works? I'm finishing all my courses in S1...would it be posted 5 business days after the exam period or only after the whole summer? thanks!
Yes it should be posted 5 days after the exam period.
Summer school is ending early this year, so either way everyone in SU/S2 should have their grades in August.

Hi i just asked about summer courses and GPA, i know all courses will count towards my cumulative GPA but will summer 2016 credits count towards the 2015/2016 GPA for scholarships even though i had 30 credits in the fall/winter? Sorry if thats confusing, i just really need the renewable scholarship and if the summer course counts I'm screwed lol, tysm in advance!!
Ooh, the renewable scholarship is what you’re referring to, you should’ve said so. :P
Previously, I was under the impression that the summer 2016 courses counted towards the 2015/2016 GPA, but an anon just recently informed us (after verifying with SFS) that the previous summer session will count towards the 2015/2016 GPA. So, in short, summer 2016 grades count towards your 2016/2017 GPA.

Hey just to let you know (unless i misunderstood you), I spoke to financial services and summer 2016 grades go toward the 2016/17 gpa for the renewable scholarship. It also says "previous summer session" on the website
I must’ve understood incorrectly then.
