Because summer courses. Thankfully, the last of undergraduate study for good.

I have two more weeks left. They are just badly structured. URI, of course, being a traditional 4-year institution (no matter how 'innovative' they bill themselves in their website copy and tv ads) and are known for their on-campus classes and programs -- they have absolutely no idea how to create online courses or programs. So, they basically cram a 12-14 week semester into ... five.

In other words, these professors shove nearly a full semester's worth of content and coursework at students and expect them to complete them all on time and in good faith, as if they didn't have 4 to 6 assignments per class due each week. Never mind finding the time to read or watch all the content between assignments. More so for the literature course than the career planning course, which has been going at a more realistic pace for students on summer break.

Being half way through this particularly grueling grind instead of relaxing and creating content, I've already started shifting my primary focus away from all that (and I couldn't give a flying fart in space about coursework anymore) so I can start working on content and independent research. Things I actually want to dive into and contemplate for hours at a time.

While I'm at it, gonna advertise the fact that I revamped my blog. It should now be a lot more accessible and easier on the eyes (in that it just sparkles instead of having a full blown 3D effect)

At the moment, the tagging system down the side is not that much use as I’m working on tagging all of my posts (see prev. post)

It would be nice if anyone could give me feedback, or perhaps mention if anything they tried isn’t working.
