˗ˏˋ sypnosis : you and yuji have been best friends since birth. as of recently, he's been acting strange and with the uprising of the new 'spider-man', he has been more distant. can you figure out why?

You were in class, naturally doing your work as the teacher assigned it for everyone in the class. Everyone else though? Distracted. They were distracted by the new and upcoming hero who called himself, 'Spider-man'. He was a superhero who would save cats from trees and beat up villains by using webs, hence, why his name is 'spider-man'. Honestly? He was a cool dude! There was no lying there but personally? He wasn't your favorite.

"Have you heard about that new spider-man?" Nobara exclaimed excitedly, showing you the recent news of this new hero. You looked over at her phone, before going back to your work.

"Yeah, I've heard about him. He's great! Not my favorite though.." You responded, sounding a bit uninterested since you were doing your work.

"Really? I thought you would at least like him!" Nobara asked a bit confused but pulling her phone back to continue scrolling on it.

"He's great! But like I said.. not my favorite." If only Yuji was here. You guys could debate about this new vigilante.

But sadly, you guys don't talk anymore. He had distanced himself the school year previous.

You can't help but miss him.

You were at home, lying down and scrolling through your phone. You came across Yuji's recent post. Yuji is your best friend and has been since you guys were kids! But as of recently, you guys haven't been that close. It seemed like he was distancing himself from you every time you would talk to him or at least try and talk to him.

And for the 12th time this week, you find yourself clicking on his profile, again, you looked through his posts and sighed about the fact of how two people so close can suddenly just.. stop interacting with a snap of a finger.

That's when you thought about it. Should you message him? I mean- it wouldn't hurt asking him, maybe just about the fact how he can ignore you how he does at school.

Ignoring the negative thoughts, you decided to message him. Just a short but sweet message.

Luckily but unluckily, he responded.

To be fair, you expected it. Although it hurt your feelings, there wasn't much to do about it. Either way, he had other things to do and he had his own life. That's all it was.

Maybe it was just the idea how every time a new place opened nearby, you two would go together. It was alright! You, Nobara, and Fushiguro could go together as a trio.

A few days later, You, Nobara, and Fushiguro went. You guys sat at a booth, feasting on the burgers. After conversing about whatever you guys were conversing about, you finally brought it up to them.

"Is it just me or has Yuji been acting.. distant.. recently?" You asked them, wondering if they were getting the same treatment.

They both looked at each other, a bit confused.

"What do you mean?" Megumi asked, Nobara nodding in agreement.

"I mean he's been acting different as if there's something he hasn't told me yet."

Nobara took a big bite of her burger, chewing then proceeding to swallow. "He's been acting pretty normal with me and Fushiguro. I mean we literally spoke to him yesterday. It's weird how he's been avoiding you though."

You looked taken aback and a bit hurt. He wasn't avoiding everyone. Just specifically you.

"That is.. weird. Should I ask him about it?" You asked just to end up with nods from both of your friends.

And that's exactly what you did. You asked him about it.

Now, you just needed to wait for a response.

The next day, you went to school. You approached your locker and opened it, grabbing the necessities you needed for the day. That's when Yuji approached, looking a bit nervous.

"Hey.. I saw your message. I'm sorry you've been feeling like that. I've just been having so much on my hand's and I haven't been able to focus on specific people and specific things."

You eyed him with a worrying expression. "Has everything been okay? You know you can tell me anything, right?"

He immediately waved his hands to not worry you further. "No- I'm fine!" He laughed it off.

You on the other hand were still worried. "If you say so.."

"So.. Have you heard about that new Spider-man?" He asked, a little too excited.

"I have.."

"And? What are your thoughts?!"

You paused but proceeded with answering his question. "He's cool! Not my favorite."

"What?!" He exclaimed a bit too loudly in a very medium toned hallway.

"Yeah! I just don't think he should be getting all of this.. media focus. I mean the other day there was a news blog of him saving a cat!"

"Yeah but he looked cool doing it..." Yuji mumbled.

"What?"

"Nothing! Can I come over today?"

You blinked, confused on why he was asking so abruptly but you nodded. "Sure."

"Great! See you after class?"

"Yep!"

After school, you guys walked home together. He didn't live that far from your house so it wasn't that bad. You guys caught up with each other, talking about random things you guys have been doing after not talking all this time.

He just missed one fact.

That he was Spider-Man.

After getting home, you guys made it up to your room, him greeting your mom and getting a lecture of how he hadn't come to the house in a while. You guys put on a movie and ate the pasta your mom made. It was a fun and memorable moment.

That's when the movie had a kiss scene with the two main actors having a sweet moment.

You both blushed, considering how close the two of you were. Almost touching shoulders.

There was no denying that you had a crush on Yuji and just didn't show it because you did. You did, no DO, have a crush on Yuji, you just didn't want to ruin the friendship and the path you guys were on since the two of you were now getting close.

You turned to him and realized he was looking at you.

Your eyes widened a bit. He was leaning in and so were you. You two were about to kiss until he twitched a little and pulled away quickly.

"I have to go!" He blurted out as he got up and gulped.

"What??" You were definitely heart-broken considering you guys were about to kiss and last second he pulled away.

"I'm sorry! I have to go do something for my mom! Bye!"

You didn't even get a chance to say bye before he was gone. You just stared at the door he had walked out of, a few seconds ago, and laid down. You face palmed and hid your face with your hands due to the embarrassment of him leaving you there after leaning in to kiss him.

It was 10:29 PM and you were about to fall asleep until you heard a knock on your window. You sat up immediately and clutched your phone in case of something dangerous. You approached the window and opened it. It was Spider-Man. Spider-Man was at the window!

"What the hell?!"

He made his way in, clutching his side as he was bleeding. "I'm sorry for-" He grunted in pain. "-coming here like this!"

You led him to your bed and sat him there, moving around the room to grab some supplies. He was lucky your mom was a nurse and showed you how to help an injured bleeding person.

"I'm gonna need to take this off." You told him since you can't really work on a bleeding person if they're fully clothed.

He gulped and nodded in understanding, turning around and peeling his suit off without taking off his mask.

You tried to avoid eye contact with his half naked body but noticed his build was bulky. Ignoring the thoughts, you applied gauze on the cut and stayed there to keep pressure on it.

A bit later, after finishing up on helping him, you stood in front of him and stared at him. Wondering why he came to you specifically.

"Why did you come to my house specifically?" You asked a bit confused.

He looked up at you, the mask covering his face. "You were closest."

He sounded familiar, you thought. Nodding, you sat beside him and you notice he got visibly.. nervous. He looked like he was about to blow up.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine! Are you okay?!" He countered, leaving you to blink in confusion.

"Uh, yeah."

"That's good!"

"You sound like really familiar. Do I know you?" You asked.

"I doubt it." He responded a bit too quickly.

He couldn't lie to you much longer. He already told Nobara and Megumi which is why he was probably acting normal with them. He needed to tell you.

"Fine.. I might know you.. But - you can't tell anyone about who I am!" That's when he peeled off his mask. It was-

"Yuji?!" You exclaimed loudly and that's when he covered your mouth with his hand.

"I told you that you needed to be quiet!"

"You're Spider-Man?!" You asked, sounding muffled due to his hand in the way.

He finally moved his hand. "Yeah.."

"And you didn't tell me? Do kugisaki and fushiguro know?"

"Yeah.." He gulped. "I just.. didn't think to tell you because I wanted to keep you safe."

"But you told those two?! I just don't understand I mean how-!" Your questions suddenly get cut short by a kiss from Yuji.

Your eyes widened and looked into his. You don't pull away. Immediately closing your eyes right after, kissing him back, and grabbing his neck.

You both pulled away and stared at each other and before you get a word out he speaks.

"I'm sorry! I just didn't tell you because I've been having this massive crush on you and I wanted to keep you safe.."

You looked a little surprised but smiled. "That's funny because I also have a massive.. raging.. crush on you."

"Really? Does that mean you'll let me take you out on a date??" He exclaimed excitedly. A huge grin appearing on his face.

"Will you be leaving me mid way again?"

"I promise I won't! Not without a completed kiss this time." He teased.

"You should get going, spidey." You guys share one more kiss. Making his way back through your window, he turns to you.

Catching each others gaze...

"Next week Friday?"

"Next week Friday."

You were on stage alongside your other fellow girls, performing your guys new album that had released a few days ago. You were the main vocalist so you were mainly in front, dancing and singing in front of the humongous crowd of teenage girls and young adults. The sides consisted of Yuki, Shoko, and Utahime.

You guys had just finished the last song so you said your 'thank you's' and 'goodbyes' to the fans. Running off stage and running back stage, you guys celebrated, having hit the billboard for Japans top 100.

"We did so good!" You exclaimed to the girls, giggling and hugging them.

Utahime grinned at the comment. "I know!"

You all sat down, cracking open a bottle of champagne and pouring a few glasses, drinking from them.

Shoko sat her glass down and leaned back. "I was a bit nervous."

"Well, you did great!" Utahime shoved her playfully as Yuki just smiled and drank her champagne.

Suddenly, your manager called your shared phone. You picked up since you can't really hang up on your manager.

After picking up, he started rambling. A bit too excited for your liking considering you had just finished a concert.

"Hello?" You picked up the phone and put it to your ear. You grimaced, hearing your managers loud voice. He was rambling in the phone, talking about a charity event you, utahime, shoko, and yuki had to attend.

You weren't all that bothered because if it was for charity, you were in! Of course, you were a bit tired after the long concert and all of the dancing and singing you did, but you wanted to do it if it would help others in need.

The only thing is that you and your group would have to be with others at the charity event. Others in question being characters such as MMA fighters.

It wasn't that big of an issue. See, you got along with anyone you met with a snap of a finger. So truthfully, you didn't think it would be that bad.

Or so you thought.

A few days later, you guys made it over to the charity event, interacting with everyone and meeting a few fans. You still hadn't met the men your manager had told you about but it was alright. Less people to talk to.

Until, when you were signing a poster, you heard screams. It was the usual fangirl screams you hear when you walk on stage. You and the other girls turned to where everyone was heading and noticed the boxers walking in. You noticed one with white hair, black shoulder length hair, a blonde, and behind all those beauties, one with pink, messy, hair.

The pink haired one caught your eye the most. He had tattoos everywhere and the pink hair was already a lot to look at. But you also noticed his build, his height, and how attractive he was.

You tried ignoring him and looked back at the fans poster, and finished signing it. You couldn't deny that the man was certainly eye candy.

Eye candy you needed to work with for a few days.

After the beautiful men sat down, you and your friends began talking to them. You found out that their names were Gojo, Geto, Nanami, and the pink haired guy being named Sukuna. He wasn't talking to you guys at all. Just minding his business. It seemed like he was just there to get his money and leave.

Still, you wanted to get to know the guy and why he was so distant.

As everyone else was busy, you approached him.

"Hey! I noticed you were alone- is it okay if I sit here?"

Wrong move because he ended up ignoring you. You stared at him and cringed. He just ego'd you. Hard.

"Not a talker I see.."

He finally spoke up. His voice was deep.. not to say it wasn't attractive cause it was. But he was an asshole so it took off an attraction point.

"What do you want?"

You blinked in confusion since you were originally being really nice to him but you shrugged it off.

"Like I said, I noticed you were alone." You repeated with a tone that had a sprinkle of annoyance in it.

He eyed you up and down and scoffed.

"Yeah whatever. Leave me alone."

Honestly, you were left dumbfounded. Did this guy think he was better then you?

Whatever. You had better things to worry about. Not focusing on this attractive man of course.
