love that camera guy was instructed to film mike's reaction every time harvey says some "i'm better and smarter than you" shit so we get to see mike smiling and twirling his hair and kicking his feet

rewatched the suits pilot with my friend (he’s a first time viewer) and it is a very rich text. the thing that’s missing from like s4-5 and onward is that the singular magical ingredient of the show is mike and harvey have fun together. yes they’re very tortured soulmates later on and everything is so dire and harvey is a hardass boss or whatever. but they are besties from day 1. harvey genuinely likes mike and is amused by him. even the writers forget that later when they go in so hard on the corporate melodrama

the thing about suits is that it’s not a good show BUT it’s one of the very very very rare cases where it literally is worth it to watch just for donnaharvey. like it’s so much about them, and they’re SO MUCH…. you literally don’t even notice The Rest

I’ve missed Mike and Harvey’s banter so much. 😭
