- 24-25 years old

- 5’10” and technically thin but has very little muscle tone

- actually gay. He has no interest in women whatsoever. He vaguely pretends like he likes them to keep up appearances but he’s really just here to flirt with hot men and get away from his father’s expectations

- like I said, he’s based on a sheep. Specifically the idea that he’s very social and finds himself in need of conversation (and attention) and will do just about anything to get it

- expert at giving compliments. Even if they’re empty ones, they make a person endeared to him which keeps him from getting picked on or worse, falling behind

- If he does insult you, it will be covert, hidden behind a fake compliment

- A huge coward. He’s absolutely useless in a fight or any physical activity really. He tends to use stronger people as shields

- this comes into play during the slaughter of the suitors, but eventually he runs out of people to hide with

- Very focused on his reputation and his image

- Also very meticulous about his appearance, and loves fine clothes and looking good. Tends to get upset if it gets messed up somehow

- Craves true emotional connection but knows he’ll never get it so he thrives on false connection and meaningless hookups instead

- His mother died when he was about four, giving birth to his younger sister Kyllene. He’s been raised by his father Dolion ever since, a man with very high expectations and little warmth or compassion

- This is a large reason for him craving intimacy. In a sense the suitors have become his “flock”

- He gets along fairly well with most of them, as he’s fairly satisfied with not being first in the pecking order as long as he’s not on the bottom

- Agelaus tends to be his favorite, but there are…..exceptions

- he finds Antinous very attractive and will hit on him at times in a “subtle” way

- doesn’t tend to get along too well with Eurymachus (they exchange snide veiled insults) or Leodes (he finds him dreadfully boring)

- He tends to be snobby and hold disdain for the servants, but no real malice or aggression.

- Very snide and fake nice to Telemachus, and praises Penelope, but gets a bit and awkward about it

- he loves dogs but pretends like they’re icky at times due to slobber and dirt

- 21 years old

- 5’11” and a fairly beefy boy. He stays in good shape because (after getting permission of course) he still tries to hunt for most of his food instead of raiding his host’s food stores all the time.

- He usually avoids the other suitors when possible, but he has been known to make an appearance when it comes to anything archery related

- He’s primarily an archer, and has been practicing with the bow since he was a boy. So one could say he’s fairly knowledgeable

- the youngest prince of five, with three older brothers, one older sister. (His oldest brother is canon, a man named Aepytus. He eventually becomes king of Arcadia but he goes into a blessed sanctuary he’s not supposed to so he’s struck with blindness and soon dies. Gotta love Greek mythology!!!)

- He’s kind hearted, but also cautious and wary. Even back home, he was a quiet sort who spent much of his time hunting instead of socializing so his father finally got fed up with him and gave him an ultimatum. He could get married right then, to someone of the king’s choosing, or he could go to Ithaca to try for Penelope’s hand

- he (rather unenthusiastically) chose the latter. He’s a later arrival compared to some of the other suitors. He shows up about a year before Odysseus’ return

-He very quickly discovered that he was NOT a fan of most of the men there (with a few exceptions), especially ones like Antinous

- He also doesn’t much care for Eurymachus. He doesn’t trust him in the slightest, and sometimes wonders if he’s worse than Antinous

- He gets along with Amphinomus and even Agelaus on occasion, but out of the suitors he likes Leodes best. (He is not sure if the feeling is mutual but he’s trying his best)

- An Artemis devotee. He prays to her on the regular and sacrifices to her when he can. As a result, his hunts are pretty successful. He has also been known to pray to/sacrifice to Apollo as well, for archery related reasons

- That’s actually how he started talking to Leodes for the first time. He was looking for a quiet place to pray (bc the other suitors are loud and rowdy af) so he asked the diviner if he could hang around for a bit.

- He decided he enjoyed Leodes’ company after a few times so he resolved to make friends with him/gain his favor. To demonstrate this, he brings by stuff for his rituals when he can (starting with sacrifices)

-yes, he is, in fact, like a cat (Nikolas, probably: look!!! I hunted for you :)

- while he respects Penelope and thinks she’s a beautiful woman, he is not interested in her, and certainly not interested in becoming king of Ithaca. He has his eye on a different member of the Ithacan royal family

The suitors: let’s kill the prince!

Nikolas, probably: did you say kiss the prince??? oh man, I mean I’d love to-

- He keeps trying to have polite conversation with Telemachus to kinda feel things out but the going is slow bc Tele is both insanely wary (understandably) and also very oblivious

- He hopes to get there one day though. Whether he succeeds…well, that depends on the universe ;)
