Snezhana and Sergei - did you know Viktor sugared? How fo you feel about it?
Sergei: I do know ... I feel uncomfortable with the fact he had to do that. I wish I had been around to help him but it is what it is. I won’t shame him for doing what he felt he had. Skating isn’t cheap and there’s not many who are willing to help young athletes. From what I know, Viktor was lucky with who he ended up with as his sugar daddy.
Snezhana: I did not know ... I my first gut reaction is to be very upset, ashamed even. But I’m trying to think, instead of going with what pops in my head first.
Truly thinking it over- I did nothing to help Viktor, I should have as his mother supported him. Viktor did what he felt he needed to do to reach his dream. I feel terrible I didn’t I wasn’t there to help him. I hope whom ever did help him was good to him, that person honestly did more for viktor than I probably did.
