NME 27th August, 1988. Live review of The Sugarcubes from I Beam Club, San Francisco. Когда-то я закинул на flickr историю приезда The Sugarcubes в тогда ешё Ленинград в мае 1989, там компиляция из разных источников, для истории, так там спустя годы, под фоткой The Sugarcubes люди стали писать комментарии с воспоминаниями про тот транзит — в Ленинграде концерт не состоялся, их никто не встретил — «это полный провал» (С), но в Риге и Хельсинки всё прошло ок, у них тогда был огромный тур (1988-1989) на пике популярности, через все штаты и всю Европу, их постоянно крутили по МТВ (как мы потом узнали из ютуба) и они собирали большие залы и решили на волне «Перестройки» зарулить в СПб (Ленинград), по пути из Риги в Хельсинки — логистически всё это выглядело топ, но нет.
