97 + Caitlin & Cisco 😊
Iris pushed the dress against herself, looking in the mirror. She turned to the left and right, her lips pursed. She groaned. “It’ll never fit!”
Caitlin rolled her eyes. “It’ll fit fine. You’re being dramatic.”
“I’m pregnant with twins, Caitlin. I’m going to give birth and then never lose the baby weight by Spring. I’m going to be the pudgy bridesmaid at Sue’s wedding in the ill-fitting satin, and will look terrible in all the photos forever.”
Sue, sitting on the couch at the bridal boutique raised an eyebrow. “Was Iris always like this?”
“Nope,” Cisco said, walking up to them.
Caitlin startled, turning around. “Cisco! What are you doing here?”
“I definitely wasn’t hanging around here hoping to bump into you or anything...”
Caitlin narrowed her eyes, sharing looks with the girls. “I hope not. Because that would be weird.”
Sue sighed. “Ralph sent you. Didn’t he?”
Cisco shook his head, but cracked under the intense stares of Sue, Caitlin, Cecile and Iris. “You know how he said he didn’t care about any details of the wedding, as long as there was a wedding?”
“...Yeah,” drawled Sue, arching a brow.
“Well that was a lie.”
Caitlin muffled her giggles into her palm.
Cecile put her hand on her hip, looking heavenwards. “Oh Ralph.”
Cisco put his arm around Caitlin’s bare shoulder, looking down at the strapless blue bridesmaid gown she had on. “Oh. That looks nice on you.”
Her cheeks went pink, cursing herself that her unexpected crush on Cisco apparently still hasn’t gone away. “Thank you.”
“So what does he want?” Sue asked hesitantly.
Cisco reached into his pocket. “There’s a list,” he warned, and scanned the first few requests. “He says he wants the colour scheme to be yellow, because it’s Sue’s favourite colour.”
Sue kicked her feet, blushing. “Oh my god, that’s so sweet.”
“Hallelujah,” Iris muttered, tossing her gown away. “The only colour I look good in.”
Cecile frowned. “You’re not mad that he’s changing your plans? I thought you wanted blue.”
Sue flipped her bob cut. “Girls, I’m marrying Ralph Dibny. I know what I’m getting myself into.”
Cisco leaned to whisper into Caitlin’s ear. “Yeah, but does she?”
Caitlin laughed.
“--Besides,” Sue continued, grinning wickedly. “We should leave the blue colour scheme for Frost and Vibe’s wedding, don’t you think?”
Caitlin choked, eyes going wide as Cisco’s mouth dropped open.
“Uh,” he said after a pause. “I mean--Yeah. I could see how that would work for us.”
Caitlin turned to stare at him.
“I mean!” he added hastily, “If we were to ever get married, someday. Like hypothetically. Maybe. Not like I ever thought about it.” He went beet red. “Oh my god.”
Iris laughed out loud. “Sue, you’re my new best friend.”

Chapter One: How To Get Cisco and Caitlin To Date Each Other
~.~
Ralph twisted the knob and locked the door behind himself. Leaning against it, he crossed his arms and surveyed the room.
“Is everybody in attendance?”
Barry raised his eyebrows silently from his lazy sprawl on the couch in the lounge as if to say, yeah, duh.
Ralph nodded, pleased. “We all know why we’re gathered here today.”
“Sounds like the beginning of a wedding,” Iris commented dryly without looking up from her phone. She had her feet in Barry’s lap, multitasking. While she was all for the cause, she refused to leave the Central City Citizen office unless she was promised she could also work on her latest article.
“Well, isn’t that the endgame?” Sue asked.
Ralph grinned at her appreciatively. “That’s the plan!” He uncapped the whiteboard marker and began to print out the meeting’s name in bold Dibny-esque print: ‘HOW TO GET CISCO AND CAITLIN MARRIED.'
“To each other,” Barry clarified.
It was true, they’ve tried this before only for one or the other to end up dating somebody else, misunderstanding their attempts to set them up. Ralph was guilty of that with Cisco a shameful amount of times. It was a good thing those relationships never stuck.
He added on Barry’s suggestion so that it now read ‘HOW TO GET CISCO AND CAITLIN MARRIED TO EACH OTHER.’
Iris looked up at a particularly bad squeak when Ralph underlined the sentence. “Isn’t that a bit too ambitious?”
“I don’t think so,” Barry argued.
Cecile bit her lip. “Maybe a tad.”
Ralph crossed out the ‘MARRIED’ and replaced it with ‘TO DATE’.
“So. Any ideas?”
Sue glanced at the stack of abandoned scrapbooks on the kitchen counter. “How about the Book of Ralph?”
