Guess who involuntarily weaned himself today by biting clean through his favored bottle nipple? You guessed it, this guy.
He's been bottle feeding meat milkshakes since his first deworming back in the middle of June disrupted his feeding schedule.
Today I set his bowl up in his playpen and poured his normal bottle contents into it for him. He came back into the room and up onto the bed, crying to me that he was hungry. We repeated this twice more. Finally I brought the bowl into the bedroom with me and sat on the bed with him as I normally do when bottle feeding him, and he ate the entire contents of the bowl.
Mister Velcro Kitten, everyone. He's not spoiled at all. He fell asleep after eating and had not twitched since. Good thing I didn't want to be productive this afternoon or anything.
Wherever FeNRiR wants to lay down and sleep is where this ginger demon inconveniently wants to be. The canine is resisting assimilation and companionship.
Kunnr is a few days from being two months old and is roughly twice the size he was when he came to me at three weeks. He's still eating from a bottle but I am feeding him thick milkshakes made from milk replacement and pureed canned food. I continue offering solid food alone, but he keeps refusing, and there's no real urgency to push the issue so I'm not. I suspect he ate the solid food prior to deworming simply because he was constantly hungry due to the infection. He'll get bored of the bottle eventually. It's not the end of the world.
Fuuuuuuuck I need Canto X. Each day we get closer my impatience grows. I NEED CANTO X!!!

whats incredible is that when she barks sometimes she literally says vau. like cartoon dog. she says vau vau
got the hiccups
shes still a bit fussy but i put a hot water bottle in her crate to imitate being with littermates and its doing wonders. shes being so much more chill than last night. i just took her out to pee and she went right back down which i did not expect. i thought the screams would start the moment she was back in her crate. going to try falling asleep now and hope she lets me, until her 2am pee
