I wrote about the problem with online radfem discourse for my substack and you can read it here :) it's about whether you can still call yourself a feminist if you do anti-feminist (according to radfems) things like shaving and wearing makeup!

Substack alternatives?
So Substack is making some... questionable decisions regarding hosting alt-right and outright Neo-Nazi content. This article on Mashable seems to summarize things pretty well:
The 'allows alt right accounts' death knell rings.
I was thinking of mirroring some of my original content on Substack, for people who aren't on Tumblr to find, but now that's... kind of an iffy proposition. Even if people don't leave Substack in a hurry over this, the rise of the alt-right side of the site means that a trans blogger like me might be in for some trouble if I stick around.
So... anyone know of Substack alternatives? Ones that people actually use? The article mentions two but I've never heard of them. I've heard of Buttondown, I think it was, on Blusky.
An absolute banger I rediscovered recently.
“…Because if they could woo you with “love”, they didn’t have to provide. If they could woo you with how noble they were, how they adored you and cherished you, you might get past the scraps he is bringing back, the insecurity you now feel in your life and livelihood, the fact that now you’re doing double the emotional labor, or the fact that you're dressed in tatters because he has nothing to provide. 🥰
If they could get you by worming their way into your heart with empty promises, or the belief that they would treat you better than that “monstrous” man with “no redeeming qualities” but with more to offer, they were still getting their rightful prize for being a man. They got a beautiful woman, and they don’t even have to do any real work! All they have to do is keep the promises coming. Win-win.”

I've been looking forward to this, my short story, The Final Mantra, is now up on substack where you can read it for free. This is a story about naga and humanity, a piece of mythology from another world. It would mean a lot to me if you read it and engaged with it.
HSH Princess Grace is one of the most iconic women of all time. But was there ever any other option for her?
Minor technical difficulties. But my favorite girlie’s post is finally up! 💛
“Grace was born privileged, so calling her a social climber honestly feels weird. She didn’t so much climb as make a gentle hop… Truth be told, despite the media’s modern comparisons, she had more in common with Queen Elizabeth II than she did with Meghan Markle.”
Closure isn’t real! If you’re thinking of messaging that person, please don’t. 💛
