The case for the Carrick Dress- There are just some items in your closet that end up pushing other items out because they're spectacular at being a triple threat- comfy, chic and effortless. Thus is the new Carrick Dress that I received from Aventura Clothing. ----disclosure----- (This is not a paid advertisement nor do I work for Aventura but have the privilege of being an Ambassador for the company to provide feedback and my personal twist on how I would wear their pieces. I also get to give out discounts for them, so let me know if you want one!) -------- Back to this dress...it's made with sustainable modal, a bamboo fabric and it's super soft and has some stretch like your favorite pair of leggings. 🙌 I picked the striped pattern because I have plenty of solid color dresses and wanted to change it up! The cut is a flattering swing style and the back has a cute keyhole cutout between the shoulders. Now, as far as the length, normally I wouldn't pull off this short of a dress but Aventura has done it again in creating these BRILLIANT 'Go Anywhere Shortie' shorts! Think of them like spanx and biking shorts with a pocket (!) that are perfect to go under any dress that you need coverage under or that you just need a pocket for your phone! I have been packing these in my bag for every trip this summer and love that they also will be offering a legging with the same pocket and styling for the Fall/Winter!
