Day Two- Mental Health

The second day will focus on my primary passion- mental health- and the efforts Sweden are making in this area. The first engagement will be a meeting with mental health researchers and practitioners at the Karolinska Institute. I will then visit the Zero Project, which aims to wipe out suicide in Sweden. This will be followed by a working lunch with members from Sweden’s mental health community. The final engagement of the day will be a meeting to learn about the world’s first Mental Health Ambulance, housed in Stockholm. I will meet with staff members and people who have been helped by the ambulance’s services.

As a thank you to my guests for their hospitality I will host an evening event at the Botanical Gardens featuring music and performances from my home.
