Why are they using a Nordic creature? Poor Cetus got relaced. I do like how the Kraken’s arms are tentacular. Good character design. If Sea-Monkeys looked like that, I’d want one. But if we’re going on fuckability, I prefer the 2010 one. Will add both to my watch list. There’s plenty of horrifying older male characters I like, so I support grotesque crones getting laid.

It’s an idea at least as old as Greek mythology: three magical people with one eye between them, which gets passed around as they take turns using it. The hero tricks them and gets temporary possession of the eye. But what if that was just PR? They can see just fine without it, and the eye is a magical booby trap for anyone foolish enough to try to extort them with it.
