Behold! A Friend!

I was digging around in this shop where I found this absolutely wtf bear and I immediately fell in Love and needed to own it.

It’s more folk art-y then like a plushie. Very heavy and stiff. Made out of like burlap? They have eyes it was dark in the apartment.

On Thursday I got to marry my husband! It was a rainy day but I think a library is as romantic as any place to get married.

A classmate, former roommate, and good friend of mine is raising money for a good cause, and I’d like to take a minute to tell you about it. He is a resident working 12+ hour days 7-8 days a week to keep his patients alive in a local hospital - grueling work. Both of his parents passed away in the last three years, so obviously it goes without saying that holidays are hard. And we’ve all seen how the election has brought the worst out in so many folks and caused a lot of emotional strife across the board.

SO to promote a sense of healing, love, community, and goodwill, he is raising money to buy plushies for kids who have to spend the next few months (unfortunately for some, maybe their last ;_;) in the hospital.
