23.08.22// just defended my master thesis with an INSANE grade!!!!!! my advisor basically told me the project is publishable and that i may as well try continuing the topic in my phd! i’m so so happy about it since i worked super hard on it :D i’ll try working on new projects soon...

Please help, not knowing is driving me insane.

STUDYBLR INTRODUCTION POST

So I’ve been on tumblr for over a month now, but haven’t been using it actively. This changes today. In order to sort of hold myself more accountable I have decided to do an introductory post, cause why not?

I’m a 20 year old, 1st year medicine student in the UK. I have decided to join studyblr because I’ve had a studygram for about 3-4 months now (follow me @st.udy__ *shameless self promo*) and I always find that seeing other peoples notes and the amount of time they put into them gives me a motivation to study.

My style of studying is definitely from handwritten notes, for some reason I find it difficult to study from something that’s printed out and end up rewriting it anyway. Although sometimes I do wonder if it is a waste of time to basically copy out lecture slides...

I am also a stationery addict and find it extremely difficult not to spend all of my money on pens.

I look forward to being part of this studyblr community and I hope that everyone has a great day! x

shizuku mizutani: hair tied up in a pony tail or pigtails, notebooks set out on the table, only the necessities, trying hard to focus but occasionally getting distracted by friends or text messages, but still determined to be at the top of the class, eraser bits everywhere, listening to nature sounds or pop music and drinking water

makoto sunakawa: calmly studying, listening to indie music, drinking chai tea, sitting at your desk, reviewing the day’s lecture notes and reviewing material, studying for the test or exam that is still months or weeks away

sakamoto: you have already completed the day’s homework, or most of it, in-between classes or in free periods, you are studying with a friend or helping them with an assignment, perhaps getting ready to do some community service work (or rescue birds from rainstorms), listening to rock or alternative music, drinking soda, because studying is cool! cooler! coolest!

ciel phantomhive: drinking earl gray tea out of your nicest mug/teacup, snacking on sweets, reading over well-written notes, listening to classical music, making someone else hand you materials that you forgot to get before you sat down

edward elric: textbooks spread out in a perfect circle, notes everywhere, using mnemonics, sayings, and chants to remember things, asking a friend (or brother) for help, crying for ur mom, listening to ambient noises, drinking an energy drink

asuna yuuki: doing homework at a cafe/bar/grille with a group of friends, hair tied in a high ponytail, listening to video game soundtracks, drinking a rootbeer and going over flashcards

taiga aisaka: fiercely determined to get everything done, stationery everywhere, listening to peppy/cheery music, drinking coffee or black tea, smacking anyone who tries to distract you
