Yes, I actually write in most of my textbooks - makes it easier when I look up stuff for reference later. I’m not planning on selling any of them anyways, and this way I feel like I make them my own in a way :)
Tip for writing in textbooks - use a light colored pen (gray or light blue works best for me). It doesn’t obstruct the text and doesn’t smudge like a pencil would!
