15/11/22 • 100 days of productivity - 18/100
• today i did exam practice for history a level democracy and nazism; notes for sociology on why men commit crime and chapter 15 notes for history a level
• i’ve decided to actively put in more hours of work into school because unfortunately with the current amount of time i am putting in (which is an hour and a bit a day) is just simply not enough for me to achieve what I want - i am not naturally smart and i am quite a slow learner who has the tendency to burnout quickly. therefore, i just want to be more proactive and study a bit (well a lot more) than what i am doing now. my plan is to set a goal of perhaps 3 hours of work daily? within these 3 hours i can fit in making notes/revision, exam technique and nea/epq stuff. then i can complete any homework i have during my frees at school because the amount of homework i have is really piling up and distracting me from revision. i am also procrastinating soo much on my history nea because i simply do not know how to write it. in conclusion: i am struggling. but we will get through it!
my timetable for tomorrow. three essays due in two weeks, so having to plan my days in advance.
It actually feels incredible to be not only back into uni work, but back on campus! I've only made 1/3 classes so far because Mr 4 had a surgical consult on the Monday and I don't have childcare for my Wednesday lecture... But that one foray back into the university on Tuesday was invigorating!
I've got a new study timetable worked out because I was starting to stress about assignment planning with two papers. One of them is entirely internally assessed, but fortunately the majority of the grade comes from in-class tests and one essay so it won't take up a huge amount of at-home time. I've otherwise set aside 20 mins each night Mon-Thurs for revision time for each paper, and when I get assignment details I'll factor that into my nights and my one day off a week (Saturday). Hopefully this 'small bite' ongoing system works a bit better than the cramming I did last semester 😅
Today is one of those rare days when I’m running ahead of schedule!

Study Timetable (Plus 한êµì–´)
Horrible quality, but that seems doable for now
Exercising your butt creates brain cells
When you exercise, your heart increases the blood flow throughout your body and helps create more brain cells. This brain can learn, process and retain more information, more effectively and the scientific research backs this up.
Exercise also increases the amount of dopamine and serotonin produced in your brain. Dopamine and serotonin help you learn and memorise and reduce symptoms of depression as they help regulate emotions and behaviour.
When your dopamine and serotonin levels are out of whack, you are more likely to become anxious and depressed. Often less motivated to learn, and your brain will struggle to remember the information and skills that you have learned. By exercising regularly, you are putting yourself in top learning condition – happy, healthy and focussed.
