Hell yeah! I just got the okay to do a study for the university for a research question that is super interesting to me. Due to the specificity of it (it has to do with DnD - though I will not say more so far given that I might need to recruit some of y'all for it) it will not get much in terms of funding, but I have two professors supporting it and can use university rooms for it. Which is most that I need.
Professors: "... You want to do a full-fledged study as a hobby?"
Me: "Look, I consider research to be pretty much more fun than anything else. Remember, I read neurology studies as a hobby."
Professors: "True enough. Sure. I mean, it does sound like an interesting idea."
