A two evening discussion with activists with various backgrounds Taksim everywhere - Resistance everywhere! - Last summer this was broadcast to the whole world from Gezi park. A protest against the development of the small park in the centre of Istanbul turned into a public zone for negotiation in Turkish society. What previously seemed incompatible, particularly from Europe‘s perspective, began to appear in the Gezi park biotope – namely alliances and solidarity between different social communities. We look back at the year in which the voices of the opposition around the Bosporus did not fall silent. On the basis of those perspectives we also turn our attention to the the local discourse asking ourselves what fights have taken place on our own doorsteps. What strategies have been developed - and how have they influencedeach various social groups.
