A tip for Studienkolleg Kids
When you present something before class and your classmates are busy on their phones, tell them to get off their damn phones and pay attention. You worked hard on that presentation. Don't let these small things undermine your effort.
My friend Mariah started a collection of photos of me sleeping in class. Apparently she has a whole folder on her phone.

Guys, I'm catching a flight to Frankfurt tonight. From Frankfurt Fernbahnhof, I'll be taking a train to Marburg. I'll be posting updates.
Hallo, Leute! Heute fliege ich nach Frankfurt. Danach, fahre ich mit dem Zug nach Marburg. Ich werde rebloggen und Einträge posten.
Marburg is beautiful. Can't wait to start the semester on Tuesday.
A request from a broke vegetarian Indian student to other vegetarian Indian kids in Germany
Please don't complain. There's a chance you'll find an enchanting salad bar or even a vegetarian option at your Mensa (cafeteria). In fact, the veg option is a whole lot cheaper. Stop complaining. It's annoying. Almost everyone eats vegetables on this planet. Don't worry. If you hate the Mensa food, cook your own meals and/or make your own lunchbox take it with you to uni. My friend does that. She's a vegetarian, who's been living in Berlin for a whole year now. I know this other vegetarian kid who was like "I WANT FRIES. I WANT FRIES." So, I was like "Look at this amazing salad bar. Oh, look, they're giving out this great veggie meal." and she was like "Nah, bitch I'm stocking up on these bananas." Alas, the bananas couldn't sustain her. This happened in Berlin two years ago. We stayed there for a week. It was an all-expense paid trip. An interesting story, we went to this McDonald's at a train station. She bought herself a bag of fries. We were walking on the platform and a train passed by real fast, so half of her fries flew away. What I'm trying to say is that you don't have to eat unhealthy foods such as fries and instant noodles. This girl literally lived on instant noodles for the whole week.
Another thing, kids, stop thinking you'll ever find eggless cakes anywhere at all in Germany. The icing is made up of egg whites, ya noobs. If you can't eat the cake, eat fruits instead. I lived without refined sugar for about six months (I've started consuming it again but like once a month or so). I'm not saying, that you should do that too, but I'm trying to imply that if you can't eat normal cake, it's okay, you'll survive. Human beings can survive without cakes.
To conclude, I would like to say that it isn't a life-or-death situation for vegetarians or vegans. There are thousands of vegetarian and vegan people living in Germany and they manage just fine. If you want to learn how to meal prep, watch Pick Up Limes and Liv B on YouTube. There are a lot of resources on the internet. Maybe, you can learn to cook, using the ingredients available in the supermarkets, instead of annoying others. There are so many fresh vegetables there.
