Ok but real talk... does anyone have any tips on how to apply for finaid when your parents won't contribute? Like, I read the thing for FAFSA but am not sure how to, like, format the letter that your parents should write... if your school takes off certain amounts of money based off of income regardless of your FAFSA, would that apply to a self-supporting student as well? Even if they're currently unemployed (but currently seeking employment)? I've tried looking this up but nowhere has anything and I'm desperate please don't judge me for sending a post into the void hah
