You know what really sucks? Asians being racist and prejudiced over other Asians.
Like, dude, I am with a Korean man not because I am obsessed with Koreans but because, you know, we are in love and we tolerate each other and we still haven't murdered one another. Do you really have to equate someone's relationship with a Korean person as purely objectification/obsession/fetishism? There are others like that, sure, but can you tone down the judgmental stares?
Also, yes, I am half japanese and my mom is filipina. Why assume (and ask me blatantly) that my mom was one of the following: sex worker/entertainer/house helper/undocumented teacher. Is that what all you know about Filipinos? We are spread over all the world working different jobs and I see where the assumption might come from but can you not be so obviously contemptuous about it? Ask me a question, I'll answer, but don't expect civility from me if you come at me with such unfounded hostility.
Last, and please take note of this, don't put all Japanese people in a box with the tags "Weird Taste, Anime, Censored porn, Harajuku, Sushi" I mean, aren't we past that? When you meet a Japanese person, is it really necessary to ask what kind of anime they like? Seriously? That's like asking an American what kind of burger he likes. It doesn't sound nice, does it? Again, ask all you want but, please, don't pester us if you don't get the answer you're aiming for. NOT ALL OF US LIKE ANIME! (I do but that's irrelevant).
Sure, streotyping is, arguably, a natural response borne from thousands of years of evolution but we are also a species who knows how to analyse and learn. We have the ability to evaluate our biases and wade through it to get our way of thinking better and less prejudiced.
TL;DR Be done with the stereotypes! We are all more than those. Much, much more than those.

I would just like to point out that the Islamic State is as Muslim as the Klu Klux Klan were Christian. DO NOT stereotype a religion because of a minority extremist group.
This article was absolutely shocking to us. Why is it that it's always young people who get demonised in the media? When in fact it's really only the minority of young people who are anywhere close to this stereotype. Why tarnish us all with the same brush? The media always targets people who are on benefits, immigrants, disabled, unemployed and US. There's never any pieces about how older people are taking up a lot of jobs because the retirement age has increased so they're in work longer. There's never any pieces about how there just aren't enough jobs for anyone. There's never any pieces about how young people have to give up their independence and move back in with family because they can't afford to buy a house and don't want to waste their money renting. There's never any pieces about how WE'VE been hit by all the budget cuts with massive slashes to our youth services all over the country leaving us with basically nothing to do. But it's obviously easier for journalists to go after "easy" targets and encourage everyone to grab their pitchforks.

Friday the 13th stereotype
Firstly, I was born on the 13th of December, Friday. And for those who all believe in the misfortune this day brings well I don't want to meet that shallow person.
Stereotyping sucks. First it was New Year's Resolutions now its Friday the 13th?! Can't people just stop it???
Misfortune happens the most to those who expects them. Misfortune isn't related to what day and date it is and it never will.
If you're unlucky today, well I'm sorry. Everyone faces this unluckiness so don't be so shocked when a whole lot of mishap happened to you. IT IS NORMAL.
