I preached and evangelized with fellow Christian brothers and sisters at Herald Square 34th St, 6th Ave. Manhattan this Friday evening. Mere steps outside the restaurant we had fellowship and prayer prior to outdoor evangelizing, we were helping a homeless veteran, praying for him, sharing the word, and having dialogue with passing people.

We passed out Gospel tracks which was difficult in an area pamphlets and paper deals are given every hour. But the challenge gave me persistence, stamina, and led me to engage in one-on-one conversation which I haven’t been doing so often.

I met some new Christian family I’ll be praying for and adding their challenges to my daily prayers. The more people I meet and pray for, the stronger my hold to stay Holy so that my prayers will be productive. The more I’m engaged, the more I need myself to NOT fail. And God provides me the strength to do so.

Just when I thought it was over. Tired on the late night train back to my Brooklyn stop, two guys converse with me about my bike, my mask I had partially on (dirty subway air), and it eventually led to me handing them two Living Waters, “Prince” dollar bills with a Believe in God message on the back which they thanked me for. One of the guys got off on my stop and I spoke with him about the necessity to Repent and live Holy for God. He was listening intently to what I had to say. He seemed very grateful for having shared God’s message with him. When we got outside onto the sidewalk, I asked if I could pray for him.

And as my prayer for his deliverance, conviction, and protection had him crying, convicted. Praise God for using me to help him. We got into 30 minutes of dialogue about how to be Saved. He believes it’s by being grateful. I told him honestly through the Word we must Repent of our ways and turn to God for renewing us through the Holy Spirit to live lives faithful by being Holy and Christ-like. He doesn’t know scripture too well, nor do I but I’m making whole-hearted commitments to knowing God’s word.
