#streaky sky

I won’t be getting any storm branches from my trailer cut up today. Right now it’s only 24F degrees (-4 C) and it will not be getting much warmer. I got a lot done so far but it’s too cold and windy now. I wish this weather would make up its mind whether it is gonna snow, or if we are gonna start prepping the garden. 😠

I have to venture out to the store today. I need to think of something for dinner and also I have been craving salad. I am going to get a bunch of salad goodies and look for some creamy onion dressing. I had some that came with a salad package and I really liked it.

The colors change fast at this time of the morning, so I had to be quick to grab this shot.

We are starting out a couple degrees below freezing this morning but things still look nice outside. We got more snow coming tonight but I don’t think we will get too much. The days after today will finally be getting warmer.

I will be taking paperwork back to my friend today which means I get to see my fur buddies again. 😍 (see yesterdays post)

The first one 👇is about 10 minutes before sunrise.

I walked around the yard and took several shots. I like this one the best. This streaky color fades quickly in the morning.

The next one was taken 25 minutes after sunrise.

Mom and dad Robin are out, bug hunting together in the freshly cut grass together. If another Robin gets close and tries to horn in on their hunting action, daddy Robin will run them off.

I will be doing some more gardening today and maybe cut the front yard. My front yard never has grown at the speed that the back has. The giant tree that was in the front yard was maybe the reason why. I need to get a bag of fertilizer to help things along now that the tree is gone.

I should try and get to the gym today too. We’ll see how this all goes.

A few rays are trying to punch their way through this morning, but they are not having much luck.

There is not much happening around here today. I am not happy for the weather because it is right at freezing and will stay thereabouts all day. I am also happy because it’s garbage day and the wind is barely moving. That means the container won’t keep blowing over. 😃

I am waiting for an energy crash right now. I woke up at 03:30 and flopped around for another two hours and then finally got up. I was wanting to get to the gym today. We’ll see what happens. 😵‍💫
