Happy Birthday!!! I went on a trip recently where I got to see so many cool clouds, I had to share! I especially loved seeing the different cloud types at different altitudes in the second picture :]

Image 1 looks to be stratocumulus lenticularis!
Image 2 was a bit trickier, but looks like it's cirrus spissatus and stratocumulus
Image 3 is altocumulus perlucidus stratiformis,
And image 4 seems to be stratocumulus and altocumulus clouds.

I feel like there’s a lotta variety in these ones
There is a decent bit of variety here, but I think a lot of it is the trickery of layering!
Both images have altocumulus perlucidus, stratocumulus duplicatus with virga, and stratus fractus clouds. And some cirrocumulus in image 2, too.
Whats really interesting to me is the angle of the clouds in image two! Great spotting!!

long time no post! Here's some of my favourite December clouds so far
