I answered a pretty similar ask to this a few days ago (not sure if it's the same person)

but, to sum up- if you've been fingered before, the sensation isn't super super dissimilar. obviously this will depend A LOT on what shape/width/length/firmness of strap you have, so just keep in mind if you try something and don't love it, there might be another one out there you'd like better! they come in literally all different types.

I will say, almost all straps are going to be longer than most people's fingers and generally more girthy as well, so take it slow! take time to warm up with foreplay, don't be shy to use plenty of lube (check the type of lube with what your strap is made of- some lubes aren't compatible with silicone, for example) and if anything hurts or you don't like it, speak up and say so! try a different position, add some more lube, add a vibrator, etc etc
