send a heart for a specific kiss!
Lucio was not in his room. That much was evident the moment he opened his eyes. What he couldnât seem to figure out, though, in his bleary half-awake state, was exactly where he was. White roses climbed high to silky violet sky, and for a moment he finds himself wondering if heâs fallen asleep in the garden of all places.
But then he rolls over ( in a bed, nonetheless, ) and sees Isaâs sleeping face behind him. Suddenly, the dots from last night are connected, and as a satisfied smirk settles on his features the Magician stirs. Their eyelids flutter, then after a moment open to blink upward as their gaze darts from the drapery on the ceiling to the Count beside them.
â Good morning, â he says, sitting up. His prosthetic lays on the table beside the bed, and he gets to work affixing it to his arm as Isa wakes up.
â Do you- â They stretch, a whine escaping their throat. â want tea? I can make some in here. â
â I should be going, actually. â Prosthetic on, Lucio rises from the bed in hunt for his clothes. â We wouldnât want a scandal on our hands. â
Isa, begrudgingly, follows in suit by rolling out of bed. They aid Lucio with the buttons of his shirt, straighten his blazer, place a delicate rose on his lapel with a grin. He smooths back his hair to the best of his abilities ( heâll have to double-check it in his own room, later ) before snaking an arm around Isaâs waist.
â Time to start the day, â he sighs, face falling dramatically for just long enough to be comedic. With the gentleness he can muster, the golden claw tilts Isaâs face up by their chin, and for a moment Lucio simply admires. Softly, he presses a kiss to their lips, then their cheek. â You know the routine. Donât follow me out. â
And with that, he releases his Magician and escapes back into palace life.
