Eleven had begged Peter to spare the other fifteen children in the lab before he went out on his killing spree,

> so Peter finds himself escaping with literally sixteen kids in total, when his original plan was just him and Eleven.

> So he's driving a van with Eleven and Ten sitting on the driver's seat while the others are fighting in the back of the van and he's really questioning his life choices bc he doesn't have any patience, he lit hates kids but he doesn't want to see Eleven cry. 😂😂

> Meanwhile Eleven and Ten are playing with the music button and it switches from Queen to David Bowie every ten seconds.

Vecna was described in Pt. 1 during the campaign as being more shriveled, desiccated, and missing his left arm and his left eye due to the controversy of their previous campaign... Do you think that's a foreshadowing moment?

Also on the topic -- If Steve survived the bats, Eddie could have too. Steve was beaten up pretty badly, dare I say worse than Eddie was. Heck, we didn't even really get to see Eddie's wounds... or a body being brought back. There was only the chain with his guitar pick. This could be to allow his uncle to move somewhere and get out of Hawkins ASAP.

Did they actually fake Eddie's death to clear his name? This also kinda does well for Eddie's uncle too. It gets him out of Hawkins to a safer place and start fresh. I mean, the trailer is gonna be gone. Mike hid El in his basement for a long time. Maybe they'll hide Eddie?

I've had so much time to think about this, and I also studied Criminal Investigation and Theater for about 2 years so...

Peter for the most part of eps 06, 07: "I hate everyone in this lab."

Baby El: just existing, being adorable and the most powerful out of the other children.

Peter: "Except from that child there. Yes, I can def see myself keeping that one."

Me, after watching the Peter Ballard reveal:

"What do you mean One/ Peter doesn't escape with baby Eleven and become her big brother/father figure and teach her to control her powers bc he wants the world domination bullshit instead? Where's my found family/ hurt - comfort arc?? Screw the fucking world, I don't care if he's a psychopath, he's literally the only one who understands her powers. He shouldn't have killed those children so they could leave the lab & heal together."

(It's not even shipping for obv reasons. El was 8 - 9 yo while Peter was 34-35. And I love more parent/ child dynamics than ship dynamics.)

Peter: Oh, I adopted her. I mean, It wasn't even that difficult. The only thing El wanted was affection.

Tom, nodding: Harry is like that. It's nice, isn't it? You aren't as alone as you used to be.

Peter: It is. I still hate everyone else though.

Tom: Me too.

Peter: I used to think humans were unbearable.

Tom: Same here, but not anymore.

Peter: The little brats are quite charming, aren't they?

Tom: Mhmm.

Harry: Hi.

El: Hi.

Harry: I'm Harry.

El: I'm El. It's short for Eleven.

Harry, impressed: Wow. Cool name.

El: Thanks.

Harry: Do you have magic too?

El: Sure. I can move things with my mind and find people's repressed memories. Does it count?

Harry: Ah, telekinesis. That's nice. Sure it counts. Very impressive.

El: Thanks. Hey, do you sometimes feel like... you're useless if you don't save people?

Harry: Hero complex. Yeah, I have that too.

El: It's tough.

Harry: It is. Like, if anyone dies...

El: It's your fault. My friends told me not to think of it like that.

Harry: Mine too. But I still do it.

El: Me too.

Harry: It sucks.

El: Mhmm.

Meanwhile...

Peter, reading a Hawkins newspaper: "Would you perhaps be interested in going out and killing a few mortals?"

At some point of the final battle between El & Peter/Vecna in vol 2:

Peter: "Well, well. Look who's here. All alone."

Eleven, at the verge of lashing out: "That's because you've literally slaughtered everyone else!"
