A few doors down from where I live is this house. In 1900 one of the most infamous crimes in Utah History happened here. The owner and builder of this house was executed by firing squad for murder... the victims house is right across the street... Unfortunately both men had large families and were influential men in the city. The man who owned this house was the architect of the church down the street. The church immediately stopped the construction and hired another architect after the murder but the original sandstone foundation still remains as the bottom basement of the church. Having lived in this area for 4 years... I still think whatever may have influenced the bizarre events back then... I think is still here.
