A happy customer collection for the #Cresta last weekend with its restored, rebuilt and powder coated subframe, plus new springs, shocks and bushes. We also sourced a new old stock brake master cylinder and new hoses, then serviced front calipers and rear drums. Believe it or not it will be produced in South Carolina along with many other BMW SUV’s! Let’s start with the polarizing front end with a massive black kidney grille, M mirrors, a rear diffuser, an M spoiler and 20in grey wheels. Competition buyers get 21in wheels, gloss black accents. All models get LED lights, a Harmon kardon audio system, and loads of driver safety systems. 🔥[ACN Spec Sheet] Under the hood is a TT 3.0L Straight 6 making 473HP and 442 lb-ft of torque paired to a 8 speed gearbox and MX-Drive AWD! It can do 60MPH in just 4.1sec and reach a 174MPG Topsped! American Straight 6 😮 🇺🇸 ______________________________________ There is a big secret coming out of FCA and that is the development of a new straight 6. This classic engine seems to be making a comeback as Aston, Mercedes, and JLR all are turning to it. FCA plans to debut this new engine in the Wagoneer and it may replace the 5.7L HEMI….🔥 The current 5.7L HEMI is old… it came out in 2003 but has been updated over the 15 years. This new straight 6 will outperform the old HEMI as the 5.7L only makes 375HP and 410 lb-ft of torque 🔥 This engine will be like the plague at FCA and reportedly will spread to RAM, Jeep and Dodge and will also replace the 3.6L V6. The engine also will be pretty small and powerful at the same time as engineers want it to be within 3in of the 2.4L 4 cylinder at FCA so its displacement could be 3.0L or just below!
