mdotstrange is an incredibly talented visual animator, I’ve been following him since his film “We are the Strange” was featured in a piece on G4′s Attack of the Show way back in the Mid-2000′s. His visual style is an absolutely nutty and unparalleled mix of 3D graphics, Real World stop motion, and 8-bit shading. Admitably his writing and story telling falls quite short of what I’d classify as “Watchable”, but IMO his visual style MORE than makes up for it all, which I should add, is produced from scratch entirely by himself with next to NO outside help, save for voice acting. He’s worked on feature films, and even music videos for bands like ÝRÝ and Mindless Self Indulgence.
With all that being said, he’s currently in early stages of developing his first feature video game, who’s intro cinematics sets an AMAZING tone for what he wants his gameplay to look like. You should absolutely check it out:
