So, I watch my niece and nephew everyday until noon. In the mornings before the kids get up, I watch Supernatural because it's always on at that time. I was watching the episode LARP and the Real Girl and near the end, my nephew woke up. I figured it wasn't a very violent episode, and he's only 3, so I thought I could probably watch the last five minutes before switching to one of his shows. I realized that there was going to be the lesbian kiss when the fairy left, so instead of changing it, I watched his expression from before the kiss happened, all the way through it, and after. AND GUESS FUCKING WHAT. It didn't change. Like, at all. Because a 3-year old who hasn't been incorrectly taught that being gay is wrong doesn't see anything wrong or unnatural about it. He's a smart kid. He knows it's wrong to hit his sister, to fight with her, to backtalk his parents or even me. But he doesn't even bat an eyelash when he sees a same-sex kiss. BECAUSE IT'S 100% OKAY AND NATURAL. This has been a Public Service Announcement, thank you and have a nice day.
