Following Storm's separation from Clumsy and her return to the grove as scout leader, Storm appoints Mint as one of her new scout party members, being the healer, and this rekindled the old friendship between them, as well as lead to an even deeper relationship as they spent a lot of time together during missions.

Mint is destined to become the next Grove leader, though unaware of this. She takes over when Willow decides to retire and Storm is her loyal badass knight/lover

SmurfStorm has often said she’s opposed to the idea of marriage … this might not be entirely true but she’s sticking with it for now

 It was Mint who admitted that she'd like a child of her own

Mint is able to help Storm through her guilt at the village, and to just generally learn how to have a little more fun back in the grove, doing silly things like they’re Smurflings again.

Mint often heals SmurfStorm after bad injuries cuz it's Storm. She doesn't mind it gives her a chance to practise her healing and spend time with Storm hehe
