As many of you know, I used to be very skinny. I struggled to gain weight and averaged 80 lbs. My "friends" bashed me for my size and constantly told me to "eat". I'm glad that I've managed to gain weight by quitting cigarettes, not doing drugs, eating a heavy diet and exercising regularly. I only wish that I didn't have to go through the skinny girl bashing because it made me feel so alone and insecure. some people just can not help being skinny. i myself have a rapid fast metabolism. so i am very skinny & weigh in at 97 pounds at the age of 18 & height of 5'4. i try my best to keep up to healthy weight by forcing myself to eat extra despite my small appetite (which does not help). i have never been over 104 pounds in my life. it can not be helped, even with extra food, weight inducing supplement shakes, or anything. despite all the attempts i make, i still get people calling my anorexic (which i do not qualify as, actually), bulimic, or whatever disorder that comes to their mind, saying it’s on purpose. when in reality i try so hard & it is still beyond my control. also, it’s not okay to pick up thin people just because we’re light. keep your hands off, it’s enraging & embarrassing after awhile. if you have these problems too, just remember you are so beautiful & you’ve tried your best. don’t let anyone shame you.
