He was groggy when he woke to the unfamiliar sensation of arms wrapped closely around him, his face nestled into the crook of a neck as he sluggishly opened his eyes. He was greeted to the sight of a deep green, filling almost the entirety of his vision in the close proximity; for the briefest of moments he tried to struggle out of the hold, panicking, assuming the worst and that the grey faces had worked their awful magic once again, making his vision even worse, but that stopped when the sleeping Felt above him grumbled in his sleep, probably stirred from his escape attempt.
It was Matches, he realised, canting his head, noticing they were in his bedroom, and the green he'd been staring at had been the bare neck belonging to his partner...he could see AGAIN!
He wasn't quite sure what was better right now, the fact he'd managed to steal his boyfriend away from the mansion so easily for a night, or that he had his sight back to normal, both were good!
Pressing himself up against his snoozing matesprit, he might have muttered a few choice words, perhaps not three, maybe two since he was still so very sleepy, comfortable and content, but if Matches had been awake, he'd probably have heard the word 'love' thrown in there somewhere.
