#stone divination

In some folklore, the summer months are deeply connected to cairns and stone circles. You can bring this aspect of the warmer months into your life by using Stones as a method of divination for just about any question at hand.

You'll need:

Nine flat, smooth stones of similar size

Silver paint and a paint brush

A pouch large enough to hold all the stones

Place the stones in front of you, and paint each with a different symbol or word, as follows: YES, NO, EARTH, AIR, FIRE, WATER, SUN, MOON and SPIRIT (or SELF).

Once the paint has dried, place all 9 stones in the bag. Close your eyes and think about the question at hand.

Reach into the bag and take out a stone. Think about how the answer applies to your situation.

YES and NO are self-explanatory.

EARTH represents family and security of the home.

AIR symbolizes wishes and dreams.

For FIRE, consider passion and outside influences.

WATER represents healing and cleansing.

If the answer to your question relates to power and energy, you may see the SUN stone appear, and the MOON stone is tied to intuition and wisdom.

Finally, the SPIRIT/SELF stone indicates that the answer to your dilemma can be found within you, in this tied to the choices you make for yourself.

If a single stone doesn't tell you what you need to know, draw three stones instead, and see how the answers relate to each other.

As some of you may know, I offered divination through stones - but only yes/no questions. However, I expanded this method! Now, more in-depth readings are available. But what exactly does that mean? Well, I have different stones and crystals that i throw with my yes and no stones. And then they tell me everything I need to know.

But Blake - that doesn´t explain much! - Yes, I know, but I am bad at explaining this, so under the cut is an example from a reading I did (it was just a short one, readings I´ll be doing in the future will be a even more complex!). The topic of the reading was about their career.

What does a reading cost? I do charge a little but definitely not a lot! Stone Divination Readings cost:

Stone Divination: - yes/no question: 1€/1$ (includes one stone regarding your question) - a question with 2 stones: 2€/2$ - a question with 3 stones: 3€/3$ - a question with 4 stones: 4€/4$ - a question with 5 stones: 5€/5$ (each question with stones incl. the yes/no stones)

a darkly colored stone

a uniquely colored stone

a small bag/sachet

your concentration

HOW TO?

the lightly colored stone will be the “yes” stone. the darkly colored stone will be the “no” stone. the uniquely colored stone will be the indication stone. take all three stones into your hand, and concentrate on a yes or no question that you have. once ready, lightly toss the stones onto a soft surface. the light or dark colored stone closest to the indication stone is your answer. 

Feel free to ask any question that can be answered with a “yes” or a “no”.

I need practise. So I decided to take sigil and stone divination requests. Regarding the sigils: I´d like to make some with different intents and uses. Doesn´t matter if it´s just a single wors you request or sentences. They won´t be very complicated in the beginning, but I hope to advance my skills in the future.

Regarding the stone divination: It is very similar to a pendulum reading. You can ask me yes/no questions and depending on the matter of your question I will answer it with the help of my stones and a crystal (that fits your matter).

I have this as a page, but I thought more people would actually read this if I make it as a post as well. PLEASE read this if you want to get a reading from me. First of all I want to say that nothing that I say in my readings is set in stone, if you make a decision, the future can change. So please don´t blame me if my reading didn´t come true.

Let´s start with the basics that apply for both, Pendulum and Stone Divination Requests.

How can I ask for a reading?

You can either send me an ask (anon or not) or just send me a private message through the tumblr chat system.

What can I ask?

You should ask yes/no questions. Both divination techniques work best for me if I have this kind of questions to answer. However, there are certain questions I don´t like to answer or I just can´t answer. Here´s a list of things that I don´t feel comfortable answering:

Questions that have to do with medical issues, disabilities, disease or injury. If you need help with any of these, please go to a doctor.

Any questions having to do with mental or emotional disorders/illnesses. Though I have some experience with this, I can´t help you with that. It´s better to get professional help.

Questions about death. I do not know when you or someone you know dies - and even if I know I wouldn´t be comfortable telling you.

Do you need my full name to answer a question?

Not really. I mean a name helps me to connect to you, but I don´t need the full name for that. But some Initials or a nickname would be great.
