Awakening

I'm doing okay, under the circumstances. I'm getting a lot of support from both friends and family. I'll be able to stay at the apartment until February when the lease is up, and then move in with a friend while I sort my life out. It's a challenging time, but I'm handling it.

Dandy was a huge source of financial support over the years. They are the reason I've been able to make webcomics for as long as I have as consistently as I have. I always wanted to pay them back for that. As weird as it may sound, I still hope that I can some day. But for now, money is going to be a big issue going forward. Even with a place to stay, I still need to pay for groceries, gas, and health insurance. If you're able, now more than ever I could really use the help. City government has been doing some repairs on my neighborhood's water supply, the problem is that with the constant raind and flooding the repairs keep getting delayed

Which means we've been having to make do with no potable water for the past 6 days. Mind you we can still get bottled water instead, but that stuff is WAY MORE EXPENSIVE than just water from the tap

soooo I'd just like to ask y'all to help me and my family keep paying for our drinking water... which is kind of a fucked thing to have to do on tumblr dot com, but such is life

Hey what's up, my name is simon and I could really really use your help.

My glasses are on their last legs along with my computer. My art and writing are my only sources of income at the moment, and I desperately need my glasses so I can function in my day to day life. I've been trying to get a job in my area but nobody will take me, and I'm beyond desperate.

I’m a transwoman who lives with family who are very much against me being trans. The only reason I’m here is because I cannot afford to live on my own. I am not in immediate danger where I am, however I have been told that I can be kicked out at any time.

In about 7 months, I will be graduating from my community college and hopefully moving on towards obtaining a bachelor’s degree. Right now, I’ve currently been struggling with surprise medical debt, school tuition fees, and other expenses that make saving towards moving on very unlikely. This month alone I’ve been struggling financially to the point of extreme stress.

All of this to say, I need help finding a better place for myself and working towards furthering my education.

I made a gofundme specifically for this, all funds raised will go towards finding better housing, paying for moving expenses and paying for any bills I am currently struggling to cover.
