3rd day of IV fluids. Starting to feel the effects of these 3 days and it feels great!! The dehydration leg cramping is gone...gone...gone! I slept so good last night for the first time in probably 8 months! I am starting next week with regular IV fluid days on every Monday and Thursday. It's extremely difficult to stay hydrated with an ileostomy. No matter how many fluids I consume it is never enough. My new shirt from Spoonie Sisters Shop. I love it very much! It's super soft and extremely comfy. Trying to bring awareness to FAP, (Colon Cancer gene mutation). I am a survivor of Stage 2 Colorectal Cancer with Lymph Node involvement. I spent 2 months in the hospital recovering from surgery and a massive infection. It took me a complete year to fully recover from this intense surgery. While recovering I had to endure 8 grueling months of intense chemo. 3 weeks on with 1 week off. If someone in your family has colon cancer please get tested.
