Idk how I've never thought of this before! We've seen in the show Imps cannot write properly, so it's led me to believe that anything Stolas has ever read about Imps will be written from the perspective of another hellborn, possibly a Goetia/Royal.
So why is this important? Well, if these books are written from the perspective of another hellborn, possibly one of higher statuses, they can manipulate how Imps react to certain phrases like 'impish little plaything' making it seem like Imps might like those types of phrases.
And this is why he doesn't think he's ever looked down on Blitzø because the stories he's read are probably all written by other hellborns.
Stolas is now actually in a perfect position to view things from the other side and write non biased accounts about Imps for other hellborns. Once he actually realizes what he said wrong to Blitzø. Even if he can not write from the perspective of an imp, he can help to bridge that gap.
