day 7 of 'The Addams Family' by The Little Stitcher @laura_violet_r I have Morticia and the house finished! Once I finished the house I decided I was going to do each individual piece to completion before moving on. So far it's going well. The patch of four x's between Morticia and the house will turn into a spider, but because it's Linen I didn't trust my counting so needed a small marker to start Morticia. Finally got these two #finishes framed. 'Home of a Needleworker' still has to actually be put in the frame, but I have to figure out a new backing for it since it's too thick with the glass to fit. This is also the first time I've used the lacing method to finish them off ... I love it! It's so easy to do and fun. I'll be doing this from now on I think. . . Patterns: 1.) Made another #projectbag! Once again I bought some single fat quarter fabrics from #Walmart and a matching zipper from #hobbylobby. This time I tried something different and bound it quilting style and I only placed #pellon809 on the exterior fabric rather than both exterior and interior fabrics. The binding isn't as neat as I would have liked it but I'm actually really happy with how it turned out. The size is 12x15 (my biggest one yet) and already has my first #HAED pattern kitted up inside of it. HAUL! Received two packages in the mail today, one from #123stitch and one from #MissouriStarQuiltCo. I shouldn't have really spent the money on them but I just had to get them. Now I should be set for crafting for the next couple of weeks, or months if I really push myself. . . The 123stitch order contained a piece of 13x18 32ct White Jobelan that I plan on using for my Christmas Tree #Chatelaine. I've never stitched with Jobelan before and I was kind of surprised when it arrived...I'm not sure if it's just because of the count or what but it looks and feels like Monaco. I'm not complaining, I like Monaco but I always thought that Jobelan was supposed to be much smoother and softer than most stitching fabric? Am I wrong? Comment and let me know anyone whose stitched on Jobelan. The other piece I ordered was the #DutchBeauty sampler pattern. I've seen it everywhere on #flosstube and IG the past months and after seeing it shown on @eclecticpossessions youtube channel I just had to purchase it. Thanks Emily, you're are such an enabler ^.^ #nursinghomepiece. . . My other package was fabric I purchased from Missouri Star Quilt Co that are for making more project bags. I needed a bag to hold my #halloween WIP and since I've been making them I decided to buy more fabric, so bad! I love all the fabric from MSQC, they're so beautiful and the patterns are gorgeous.
