there was a pina colada and there was a bottle of vodka. and by those two things only one could assume they knew what kind of night warren and francis were having in the dorm room #509, having occupied it completely. “just to make sure. this isn’t a crying situation, right?” that was about as much worry one could ever experience coming from warren, but he was simply horrible at handling emotions that heightened. and he was probably just as horrible at giving advice to someone else, but francis should have already known that.

Dimitri stared at Francis skeptically, fixing his tie and making sure that it was pressed in a neat knot at his neck before moving to his cuff links. “And why were you sent to me?” he asked, raising an eyebrow curiously at him with a playful smirk on his lips. He fidgeted with his left cufflink before finally getting it and letting his hands fall to his lapels, which he shook out before letting them fall completely. 

“Because we both know if anyone would be the fairy godmother between the two of us,” Dimitri began, gesturing between the two of them. “It’d be me. I am much better equipped for whatever you think you’re going to help me with.” He, of course, was busting the other’s chops, but he kept his amused and smug grin on his face even as he waited for the other to continue with whatever he was going on about. 

Callum couldn’t believe that he had fucked up the research so badly. He had been certain that he saved the file before his computer had died on him, and he was freaking out thinking that he had lost all the progress and data that he and Sofia had worked on for so many weeks. Running a hand through his hair, he tugged on his curls, filled to the brim with stress. 

Following Sofia’s direction, he took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a brief moment. “I know I pressed save before my battery died. I made a point of it,” he said, his voice calmer than it had been before.

Opening his eyes, he opened his laptop, now fully charged, and clicked a few times before letting out a long, relieved breath. The document was there, and he slowly clicked it open too. He glanced up at Sofia and offered her a nervous smile. “Okay, it looks like it did save, except,” he paused, looking over the document and sighing. “Yesterday’s work. Which I still have in my notebook, so we’re good. For now.”
